As another year of club racing draws to an end now is the time to polish your shoes and get your best clobber out to attend the clubs annual prize giving evening to collect the prizes you’ve won, applaud those who beat you or just to watch you sailing ‘hero’ collect their prize. The club prize giving evening will take place in the clubhouse on Saturday 15th November 2014 starting at 7pm. The bar will be open from 6.30pm and there will be a light buffet provide.

Leigh & Lowton SC played host to the last of the North West Traveller Series for 2014 on Saturday 20th September.  The event was held in tough conditions for the young competitors searching for zone squad places.  The wind was fickle and shifting for the first two races and then came good for the last one, the competitors dealt well with the light winds and changing courses through the day as the OOD adapted his plans to the conditions.
