Access Cards
As a member of the sailing club, you have the right to apply for an access card to enter the club outside of normal sailing hours. New members are able to order an initial door access card free of charge (max 1 initial access card free per household). Replacement or additional cards will be issued for a fee.
An access card will give access through the main entrance gate and through the outer clubhouse door to the changing rooms and toilets.
PLEASE NOTE: Access cards are only available to Sailing and Canoe members.
Upgrading Your Access Card
Separately, if you are helping manage the club and as a result need to access other buildings, you should confirm with a member of the committee first and then purchase (price zero) the subscription “Access card permission change”.
NOTE: Extra permissions are only available to Executive Committee members, Coxes, and members who are active trainers for the club.
Spar Container Key
A container key will give access to the spars container for Topper and Laser Spars. This is not required to access club equipment. Further permissions can be requested by selecting access card permission change after gaining approval from a committee member.
Important Policy Note: Please note that access cards and keys must be returned at the end of your membership.
Access is a privilege, not a membership right. The committee reserves the right to refuse or withdraw access at any time.
