RNLI Results The forecast for sunny weather brought out the shorty wetsuits for the annual pursuit race in aid of the RNLI. Unfortunately, the wind was not so obliging as the sun and as the Optimists made their way out to the start line, the anemometer was struggling to reach 3 knots.

The RS400 Bollé Northern Tour kicked of in style at Leigh & Lowton Sailing Club on the 17/18 March. As forecasted the 16 strong fleet launched in very light winds, however by the second lap a dark cloud brought in planing conditions and big shifts.
