LLSC Success at RYA Zone Squad Championships

Podium finishes for LLSC in every class at the weekends RYA West Zone Squad champs. LLSC junior sailors continued with their recent top form with a first and third in the optimists from Archie Leckie and Harvey Leigh, a win in the RS Fevas from brother Matt Leckie and Izzy Bristow and a second in the Toppers from Lorcan Knowles. The wind was gusting to about 2mph which made for very challenging racing. Many more LLSC sailors secured the squad positions they were looking for. The optimist fleet repeatedly pushed Peter Baldwins start line. His only real option after this general recall was a black flag. It was discussed at his briefing but still caught sailors out many who were experiencing it for the first time.
