NWJTT Photos and Results

The 2014 LLSC Junior Travellers will be remembered by all for the glorious sunshine and favorable wind. A westerly F2/3 allowed the Race Officer Mike Baldwin to set a simple trapezoid course with a beat up most of the length of Pennington Flash with a wing mark near the club house for a good view by the spectators. The 48 sailors behaved themselves on 8 of the 9 starts with only one errant Laser sailor over the line on the last start sequence of the day. Competition was close at the front of all the fleets, especially the Optimists with the Toppers dominating the Handicap fleet.

The winners were

Stephanie Wingeatt – with a bullet in each of the three races – Junior Handicap – LLSC.
Oliver Davenport – winning the event after first place in the first two races – Youth – Redesmere
Sian Talbot – taking two firsts in the 12 strong fleet to win – Optimist – LLSC.

Big thank you to those who entered in advance on line. We appreciate that competitors are used to the paper entry forms on the day. By not having to decrypt them meant the race management team could get results out quicker and more accurately.
