3 good races in sparkling warm conditions gave the 60+ competitors for the week 7 of the Marlow Tipsy Icicle plenty to smile about. After weeks of no wind, too much wind and ice had curtailed racing in the Marlow series the weather gods were finally kind(ish) as competitors were treated to 16-26 knots of breeze straight down the lake for 3 consecutive races. Following the unprecedented conditions during January of either no wind or too much wind, resulting in the loss of most of the races, we have taken the decision to amend the schedule for the remainder of the series in order to run additional races. From Sunday 10th February the first race each Sunday is now scheduled to start at 11:30 rather than the previous 12:00. This will allow time for a 3rd race each day. The plan is 1 race...
