This year LLSC have submitted their annual RYA PY return via the PYS website and below are the results. The PYS website uses a methodology based around Bench Marking to calculate the suggested handicaps. The big fleets like RS400, Solo, Laser are unlikely to move as they are set as the bench mark therefore the other fleets will move around them. Gill Kenyon will be running a winter safety workshop on Wednesday 14th December. Aim: To examine the 3 stages of hypothermia and how sailors can recognise and deal with it’s effects.Objective: Sailing crews and rescue personnel will be able to differentiate between potentially life threatening and less serious but performance degrading changes to body temperature.
