The Brass Monkey event was posponed at Christmas time and re run at York Dales SC on Saturday. The most popular dinghy winter series in the UK, the ‘Crewsaver’ sponsored Tipsy Icicle series at  Leigh & Lowton sailing club, recommenced on the 12th January with another fantastic turnout for races 3 & 4 in the series. With average weekly turnouts in the 70’s the ‘Crewsaver Tipsy Icicle Series’ provides top class racing with Asymmetric and Laser fleets plus a handicap fleet from which Solo’s and junior results are separated.
