The Brass Monkey event was posponed at Christmas time and re run at York Dales SC on Saturday. Congratulations to Oliver Blackburn who threaded his Topper through the 82 strong handicap fleet to finish a fantastic 2nd overall. A pesky 49er pipped him to the post. The most popular dinghy winter series in the UK, the ‘Crewsaver’ sponsored Tipsy Icicle series at  Leigh & Lowton sailing club, recommenced on the 12th January with another fantastic turnout for races 3 & 4 in the series.
