LLSC hosts final North & Midlands RS Feva Zone Squad weekend

On 9/10th April the RYA North & Midland RS Feva XL Zone Squad returned to Leigh & Lowton for its final winter training weekend. Three LLSC juniors went to Trearddur Bay in North Wales for some intensive sea training.  Archie Leckie (looking down), Harvey Leigh (Holes in his wetsuit) and Jonny Latham (With a chicken on his head) all had big fun in A1 Sailing conditions. Nice boat Archie!

Ullswater Feva Training & Regatta

The fourth and final RS Feva Northern open winter training session took place at Ullswater Yacht club on 25 & 26 March with a total 32 RS Feva sailors attending for a fantastic first day training on Good Friday in one of the most spectacular sailing settings in the lake district.  Despite the best attempts of Storm Katie to dampen spirits on the Saturday and Sunday, 22 sailors stayed the course and were rewarded with perfect sailing conditions on Monday 28th...

2016 Yearbook and boat stickers now available

The latest yearbook and your 2016 boat berth sticker(s) are available for collection at the club. Come along to collect them, and display them as soon as possible. Remember – Boat stickers need to be placed on your boat so that they are visible even when your cover is on. If not visible there is a risk that your boat will be moved, and you will lose that berth, when the next working party is in action when we tidy...

Team Racing Competition

Budworth Sailing Club is re-introducing its  two-boat team-racing competition and has invited LLSC to send a team to the event which will take place over the last weekend of November. The event will be open to 12 teams of four sailors with experienced on-water umpires. The entry fee is £180 per team which includes lunches and dinner on the Saturday evening.
