A very busy couple of weeks for our juniors as they have travelled to their various class events. Sian Talbot & Eloise Clapson-McBride and Simon Hall & Emily Haughton represented us in the RS Feva XL class at the RYA Eric Twiname Championships at Rutland SC. In a tough competitive 24 boat fleet Sian & Eloise were 2nd overall and Simon & Emily were 15th. … At the same event Bruno Nicolas represented us in the 76 strong Optimist fleet...

Hurricane Katy meets Optimists at Braasemermeer

Optimists Fleet A fleet of 240 sailors entered the Optimists Braassemermeer Regatta in The Nederland’s. Alan Williams was the lead GBR coach supported by three more coaches. There were other ribs on hand to support Development Squad and other GB sailors. Alan Williams had briefed sailors and parents not to allow activities which might lead to injury. LLSC hosts final North & Midlands RS Feva Zone Squad weekend

On 9/10th April the RYA North & Midland RS Feva XL Zone Squad returned to Leigh & Lowton for its final winter training weekend. Ullswater Feva Training & Regatta

The fourth and final RS Feva Northern open winter training session took place at Ullswater Yacht club on 25 & 26 March with a total 32 RS Feva sailors attending for a fantastic first day training on Good Friday in one of the most spectacular sailing settings in the lake district.  Despite the best attempts of Storm Katie to dampen spirits on the Saturday and Sunday, 22 sailors stayed the course and were rewarded with perfect sailing conditions on Monday 28th...
