Just to inform our members that one of our Honorary members,Maureen Henderson, died peacefully in her sleep last Friday aged 90 years. Older members will remember Maureen as the mother of Debbie Taylor, mother-in-law to Roger and Grandmother (plus baby sitter in the club house when Roger & Debbie were out sailing) to Jenny and Pippa. Regatta Weekend

Leigh & Lowton Sailing Club hosted their annual regatta over the weekend of the 11/12th July with three races (two to count) each day and incorporating a Miracle open meeting and the IOCA North West Championship with the overall results for these classes being based the two days racing. Five years after the first Topper 4.2 National Championships took place at Leigh & Lowton SC, the class returned to Pennington Flash to compete in the 2015 event. Spring Camp is nearly upon us – book up while there are still places!!

Our famous spring camp in half term is only 10 days away, and bookings are coming in fast.  Whether you are an advanced racer or an absolute beginner this is a perfect place to learn as we split different abilities into Advanced (racing), Intermediate (RYA level 3) and Beginner (RYA Level 1&2).
