Junior 12 Hour Race, Southport Marine Lake, 29th June 2013 Sailed in a Force 2-3 breeze with Force 4 gusts this year, Leigh and Lowton’s juniors performed brilliantly to take 5th place out of 29 boats.

The two day Miracle Northern Championships held at Delph Sailing Club near Bolton saw a return to form of Wayne Atherton sailing in a new partnership with experienced Miracle crew Angela Sweeney. The pair managed to win the event by sailing just the three races on the Sunday of the two-day event. There were 28 boats in total in the three fleets which sailed at Pennington Flash on Saturday. The sailing was close across all fleets with the results of the Handicap fleet being decided on discards.
