Congratulations from all at Leigh & Lowton SC to Hannah & Graeme Bristow on an amazing 4th place overall in a highly competitive 51 strong fleet at the RS500 world championships in Loctudy, Brittany, France. Race 4 saw them take the bullet by a country mile and they scored a 2nd and a 3rd in other races. The weekend of the 12th and 13th July saw Leigh & Lowton sailing club play host to a total of 68 boats as the Miracle inland championships and the North West junior Optimist championships were run alongside the clubs annual regatta weekend. I have received the sad News that Carl Humphries passed away on Wednesday evening 9/7/14. Carl had been fighting Cancer for almost 18 months. For those that didn’t have the pleasure of knowing him.
