The biggest dinghy winter series in the uk (possibly the world?), The Tipsy Icicle, starts this Sunday at midday. 2 races per day. Finishes on 18th March 2012. Fleet racing for Solo, Laser, Juniors, Handicap and asymmetric. £5pp per day and £4 for juniors. Discount available if visitors enter for the series which also includes a berth. New Years Day Pursuit Gallery 1

    2012 sailing begins with the annual NYD Pursuit Race on 1st January, open to monohull dinghies under 21’ (6.4metres) in length from the Optimist through to 49ers (yes, they have entered in the past). The galley will be open from about 11.00am onwards for the whole event with the Optimists taking to the water at about 12.40pm.
