Wednesday Night B “Buddy” Series
The Wednesday night “B” series runs for 4 weeks 15th June, 22 June, 29th June and 6th July, with 2 of the 4 races to count.
In addition to the normal individual results, there will be team results, as a bit of fun. Each team will be 3 boats of mixed ability, the idea being that the better sailors provide some informal coaching to their team mates. A Team’s score will be the total of each boat’s best 2 results, so the hot shots can’t win it on their own!!
I’m picking the teams to ensure fairness, but am open to bribes suggestions!!!
There is a notice about it in the Clubhouse on the results noticeboard, however if you don’t get a chance to get down to the club in the next week and want to take part, drop me an email.
Improvers are particularly encouraged to take part, as it’s free training!!
Likewise if you’ve already sailed on Wednesday nights but can’t make those dates let me know and I won’t team you up.
I will post the teams in advance of the first race, but may create additional teams during the series and reserve the right to make up the rules as we go along!!
Wednesday “C” will probably revert to the normal format and runs to the end of August.
